Here's How The IMPACT Challenge Works

1

Your Challenge from the CSO

The CSO has gathered you and your team together because you are needed to work urgently on an important problem. You only have till the “end of the day” to get it done, so time is of the essence.

2

IMPACT Team Collaboration

With your assignment understood and initial questions answered, you and your team start working together, discussing the case, formulating a plan to deliver on the assignment and preparing a verbal briefing to deliver to your CSO.

3

CSO Engagement

Throughout the working session, the CSO will check in with you on progress, answer questions, provide guidance, and bring you additional information about your case. Although he or she is not there to do the work for you, they will engage with you and provide clues when you need them and kudos when you earn them. Your CSO facilitator’s goal is to match your energy and make this an interactive learning experience.

4

Deliverables and Insights

The spokesperson for your IMPACT Challenge Team presents the actions you’ve taken, any recommendations you’ve come up with, and any decisions that the CSO needs to make.  Your CSO and the rest of the panel will offers additional insights into your particular case. Colleagues from other teams will have the opportunity to ask questions of your team and CSO panel.
